Vendor Terms and Conditions – EkDin Lehengas
Thank you for your interest in becoming a vendor with EkDin, a community platform that connects people who want to share and rent beautiful lehengas. By joining as a vendor, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

- The standard rental period for each lehenga is 5 days, including pickup and drop-off, however, customer can opt for a 3 day/7 day rental or come to an agreement for specific duration.
- Vendors may choose to apply a late fee if the item is not returned on time.
- Extensions beyond the 5-day period must be agreed upon in advance.
- Vendors are responsible for ensuring their lehengas are clean and presentable for each rental.
- We recommend dry cleaning or lightly spraying with methylated spirits after each use to maintain hygiene and freshness.
- Any major damage or stains must be communicated to EkDin immediately.
EkDin operates on a shared model to support our vendors, platform, and community initiatives. For every rental transaction:
85% of the rental fee goes to the Vendor
15% goes to EkDin (for platform maintenance, marketing, and operations)
Charity Commitment: 10% of Ekdin’s profits goes to Charity, donated quarterly to an organisation supporting women’s empowerment or education
Payments will be processed within 5 business days of the rental being completed and returned in good condition.
- Vendors are responsible for accurately listing item details (size, colour, condition, and retail value).
- Vendors must provide clear, high-quality photos of their lehengas.
- Items listed must be in good, wearable condition.
- Vendors must respond to renter or EkDin messages within 2 business days to ensure smooth communication and customer satisfaction.
- Vendors must communicate promptly if a lehenga becomes unavailable due to damage, sale, or personal use.
- Vendors may choose whether they would like to offer shipping or pickup only.
- Vendor may choose to allow try-on appointments
- EkDin will manage the listing, promotion, and coordination between renters and vendors.
- EkDin is not liable for damage, loss, or theft but will assist in resolving disputes fairly between parties.
- Vendors may remove or pause their listings at any time by notifying EkDin.
- Refunds to renters will follow EkDin’s standard cancellation policy.
By submitting your vendor application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
EkDin reserves the right to update these terms as the platform grows, with notice provided to all active vendors.
